STEP BY STEP - PRE PRODUCTION, THE SHOOT, POST PRODUCTION

1. Decide what you want to use the video for.

2. Gather all relevant information about your company or product to include in the video.

3. Calculate your budget (use the Pricing Chart on this page to help you).

4. Call us to arrange a meeting.

5. We will discuss the concept of the video and listen to you explain everything about your company, what you want to include, what you want to omit, or any special graphics or 3d you would like us to produce.

6. We will then write a script with production notes and email it to you, for you to approve or amend and send back.

7. We will then produce a storyboard of every shot for the shoot including 3D or special graphic shots and post it to you for your approval. Included in this post will be the final cost of the video.

8. We will then call you to arrange dates and times for shooting!

THE SHOOT

1. We will arrive with our crew and begin shooting. We will probably shoot each location on different days, depending on the distance.

2. We may need the co-operation of your staff to be willing extras! Better clear this with them beforehand, you will be surprised how many people suddenly get camera shy in front of a film crew!

3. Be aware that shooting is time consuming and disruptive.

POST PRODUCTION

1. At this stage the footage will be edited, due to the detailed storyboarding this is done without client presence.

2. The voice over, if you have chosen one, will be recorded.

3. The 3D and graphics, if any, will be added.

4. The title screens, logos and backing music will be added after being approved by you.

5. A rough-cut will then be supplied as an Mpeg on a CDROM for your approval. As the storyboards are shot very precisely, any changes by you at this stage will be minor.

6. Make sure everyone sees this version and they make their comments known as changes after this stage are not included in pricing and can be costly!

7. A final edited, encoded version will then be put on to VHS, DVD or CDROM for you to enjoy.

8. Upon payment the uncoded version will be supplied for you to duplicate as many times as you wish. This additional service can be supplied by us for an agreed price.
